Ok I've been married for 31 years now and have had several blenders. My last was a Kitchen Aid and it was so complicated to use. Just getting the jar on was a struggle. And when it was not properly aligned, it either wouldn't work, or it would crack the exposed plastic "gear" that the blade spun on, thus the need for a new blender.
I searched the net for reviews on blenders, since I was sure I would not be getting plastic gear parts again, and the one blender that kept popping up as best was the OSTER! Back to basics, yep my first blender was an OSTER. Not as powerful as this, but still an OSTER. My second was an OSTER. And now I hope my LAST will be an OSTER.
The power this machine has is great. And the two buttone, what a snap. Who needs fourteen speeds when you can do the same with two and time! POWER is the key.
I also love the beautiful red, so stylish. But all in all it's the name this blender has behind it, the power inside and the durability. Beauty and brawn..........who could ask for more? Maybe a frozen Blue Margaretta!!!!
The fact that Amazon.com had the BEST price didn't hurt. I love ordering from them. Ordered on July 3, received it on July 7! Free shipping. I always check with Amazon.com for prices before ordering from anyone else. Got my last slowcooker for $30 less than sale price online and at other stores. Great prices and service. Thanks
