Worst Blender Money Can Buy! April 12, 2008 Michael Petersen (Bloomington, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found this blender (Black and Decker Crushmaster Model 12475G) on sale at a local Target store. I needed a second blender for smoothies and knew I wanted one with a glass jar. I was completely suckered by the marketing on the box. With slogans covering the box on its ability to crush ice and blend, how could I go wrong? The blender does a horrible job at crushing ice (if there is any liquid of any sort in the blender) and won't even mix basic ingredients. For example: milk, banana, and peanut butter leaves chuncks of banana and peanut butter at the bottom. Adding ice to the blender is a complete mistake. My refridgerator does a better job at breaking chunks of ice. This was a complete waste of money -- do yourself a favor and buy something else....
