I was very excited to get the Margarator as my friend has one and loves it. Unfortunately I used it only 3 times and it broke. The gear that turns the blade is made of plastic and has already been shaved down. Also a couple of the screws fell out and needed to be replaced. I have fixed it but it will probably only last for only a couple of more uses. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
UPDATE (Jan. 10,2008) I tried to use the Margarator over the holidays and it was completely broken, it wouldn't even start. I have never been more disappointed in a product.

We love this machine. Although it takes a little time to make this machine is awesome. Follow the directions given and you will have the perfect margarita. A little hard to clean but very highly recommended.

I was shocked when I took this monster out of the box at the sheer size. I was able to make about 3 margaritas each for a group of 4 before needing to make more. The margarator creates a perfect soft, smooth, slush with NO chunks. The drinks I make using it are better than I've had in restaurants. We love to go camping and this fully insulated machine will keep our drinks cold in hot weather. I will also be using it to make non-alcoholic slushes for the kids. All the things that kept me from using my blender for drinks like it melted too quickly or drinks were too chunky or it was too messy to pour or it didn't make enough and I was constantly having to make more...all of those problems are solved in this machine. LOVE IT!
